CALCULATE YOUR BMI
What is BMI?
The body mass index (BMI) calculator is a calculation of your body weight in relation to your height that is commonly used to determine whether you are at risk for health problems related to your weight. You enter your weight and height measurements into a BMI calculator, such as the one on this page.
Below are the BMI classifications for men and women established by the World Health Organization (WHO) and endorsed by leading organizations of health professionals. Reference: The practical guide: identification, evaluation, and treatment of overweight and obesity in adults – National Institutes of Health (NIH), National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI).

Note: The BMI calculator’s results are based on averages. Remember that the BMI calculator may over-estimate body fat in those with a muscular build. A BMI calculator is used to determine your relative fitness, but it is not a body fat percentage calculator.

What is BMR?
Your BMR (Basal Metabolic Rate) is an estimate of how many calories you’d burn if you were to do nothing but rest for whole day. It represents the minimum amount of energy needed to keep your body functioning, including breathing and keeping your blood pumping.
Your BMR does not include the calories you burn from normal daily activities or exercise.
Our calculator uses the Mifflin-St. Jeor equations to estimate your BMR which is believed to be more accurate than the more commonly used Harris-Benedict equation.
WHR
WAIST TO HIP RATIO
What Is WHR ?
Waist-to-hip ratio (WHR) is one of several measurements your doctor can use to see if you’re overweight, and if that excess weight is putting your health at risk. Unlike your body mass index (BMI), which calculates the ratio of your weight to your height, WHR measures the ratio of your waist circumference to your hip circumference. It determines how much fat is stored on your waist, hips, and buttocks.
Not all excess weight is the same when it comes to your health risks. People who carry more weight around their midsection (an apple-shaped body) are at higher risk for heart disease, type 2 diabetes, and premature death than those who carry more of their weight in their hips and thighs (a pear-shaped body). Even if your BMI is within a normal range, your risk for disease may be increased.

Body Fat Calculator
Use our body fat calculator to figure out what proportion of your body is fat. Measure the circumference of your waist, wrists, hips, and forearms with a tape measure. Then, using the form below, enter your gender and measurements to get a body fat index based on average values. The body fat index is not an indicator of fitness level since the calculation is made with no regard to height or weight
